RMS Security’s RMA-628 is a standalone fingerprint Time & Attendance Recording and Controlling System. Employing Biokey VX6.0 algorithms for dependability and accuracy, this biometric controller features faster identification speeds.

With a capacity of storing up to 3000 fingerprint templates and a transaction storage capacity of 50,000, the RMA-628 can effectively be used in medium to large offices, industrial units, hospitals, etc. The special algorithms used, along with the CMOS automated exposure and intelligent compensation, improve the image quality, thereby ensuring reliable operation even with wet fingers.

Besides operation in the 1:1 (authentication) mode, the RMA-628 is also capable of operation in the 1:N (identification) mode with a maximum identification time of just 2 seconds (3000 fingerprints). Communication with remote devices can be by way of RS232, RS485 as well as TCP/IP. It can also support Electro-Magnetic locks for automatic door-control functions.
